What Is A Brewseum?

Beer History

The Chicago Brewseum will offer fascinating insights into how the beverage has always flowed through the city’s veins. In barrels and in bars, beer’s been building Chicago from day one.

Beer MAkers

Chicago is a craft beer mecca. The Chicago Brewseum will connect visitors with the wit and wisdom of the talented brewers, innovative servers, and big beer brains that call Chicago home.

Beer Culture

While the Chicago Brewseum fills heads with beer culture, the brewpub will fill glasses with world-class beers (focusing on noted Chicago and Midwest breweries) and host exciting beer-centric events.

How Can I Help?

How Can I Help?

Our very first exhibition will be hosted at the Field Museum! You can experience it first hand from November 2, 2018 - January 5, 2020. The exhibition will examine Chicago's 19th century urban development through the lens of its brewing industry and the immigrant community who built it.

A story about 19th Century Chicago needs a 21st Century community to make it happen. That's where you come in. Click the donate button below to support our mission to fund this exhibition.  And signup for updates on how to get involved. The Chicago Brewseum is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit recognized by the IRS so your donation is tax-deductible.  Cheers to that!
